Summary of the article

We-R becomes Global Leader Webflow in Brussels via its founder Thibaut. This role consists in developing the local Webflow community in Belgium and Europe, by organizing events, sharing feedback and by connecting marketing, design and development profiles. This recognition reflects the evolution of We-R: from a local web agency to a strategic partner that builds Webflow systems for marketing teams. The objective: to transmit, learn and structure a strong Webflow ecosystem in Brussels.

We-R becomes a Webflow Global Leader in Brussels, through Thibaut, its founder, who joins the Global Leaders program.

But very quickly, one thing became obvious to the whole team: this role isn’t about just one person. Because it doesn’t come out of nowhere.

It’s the result of what we’ve been building at We-R for the past few years. A way of working, learning, structuring… and above all, sharing.

Webflow Global Leader: what is the real role?

The Webflow Global Leaders program does not highlight the best developers or the biggest agencies. It highlights profiles capable of supporting a local ecosystem. Webflow is growing fast, but a tool alone does not create a community. It's the people who make it exist.

A Global Leader is someone who creates meeting points. Not just networking events, but moments when people leave with something:

  • a better understanding of the tool,
  • concrete feedback,
  • discussions that they can't have elsewhere

It is also a transmission role. Because Webflow evolves quickly.

Between:

  • Marketing uses
  • Dev uses
  • The new SEO/AEO logics
  • integrations with other tools

A lot of things are moving and not everyone has time to keep up. The role is therefore also to filter, test, understand... and share what is really useful from our perspective.

Finally, it is a connecting role. Place around the same table:

  • a Webflow developer
  • A CMO
  • A designer
  • A freelancer
  • An agency

And create discussions that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

Why does Brussels make sense in the Webflow ecosystem?

Webflow is in the process of establishing itself permanently in Europe.

We can see it:

  • more specialized agencies
  • more marketing teams adopting it
  • more meetups organized by Webflow

But something was still missing: strong local communities, and Brussels is a fairly unique point.

It is an international city, with a lot of different profiles. It is also a crossroads between several cultures (FR/NL/EN). And above all, it is the capital of Europe.

Creating a Webflow community here means creating a connection point between several markets.

What it means to us

This role comes at a very particular time in the evolution of We-R. In recent months, everything has accelerated. We grew up fast. We went to a team of 6. We started working on much more ambitious projects, with challenges that we had never had before.

Before, we created sites for local businesses driven by word of mouth (like any self-respecting agency).

Today, we support marketing teams, structured companies, projects where the site is no longer just a window, but a real driver of growth. And of course, that changes everything. We no longer build things the same way, we no longer ask the same questions, we no longer make the same decisions.

We have reached a point where we have enough perspective to share. Help other teams go faster, avoid mistakes, show what really works.

But also, we want to continue learning.

Because Webflow, today, everyone uses it differently. A developer is not going to use it like a marketer. A designer is not going to use it as a growth team.

And that's what's interesting. Understand how others structure their projects and what problems they solve with Webflow.

We are organizing the next Webflow events in Brussels very soon. Join the community so you don't miss a thing.

Why does this role go far beyond one person

Technically, this role is attributed to Thibaut. But in fact, today the whole team feels responsible and concerned about this new mission, a whole team ready to speak up, to share what they have learned and to talk with the right people to continue learning.

Today, each profile in the team provides a different interpretation of Webflow. And that is precisely what makes up the wealth of what we can transmit.

On the strategy side, we are working on the structure of the site, the positioning, the offers. We challenge what exists. We are redefining the pages, their role, their logic.

On the SEO and AEO side, we think about visibility and intention.: What pages should exist? What requests should be sent? How to structure content for Google... but also for AIs?

Design side, we transform it into something legible, coherent, aligned with the brand. Not just beautiful, but understandable.

Webflow development side, we build systems. Components, reusable logics, own bases that allow teams to be autonomous.

Tracking and data side, we measure. We understand what works, what blocks, what needs to evolve.

On the automation side, we ensure that the site is integrated into a larger ecosystem. CRM, marketing, internal tools.

What we want to share today through our events is how it all works together.

This role pushes us to go further in what we already do. To be more demanding, more structured, more transparent about what we test and what we learn.
