Definition
A brand style guide translates your visual identity into concrete rules. It defines how to use the logo, which colors to use and in what proportions, and which fonts to use for headings and body text.
How it works
A comprehensive style guide includes logo versions and their clear space requirements, a color palette with codes (HEX, RGB, CMYK), typography and hierarchy, iconography, photography style, and application examples such as websites, social media, presentations, and printed materials.
Why it matters for your site
Without a style guide, a brand becomes diluted with every new asset: a slightly different blue here, a different font there. With one, any team member or contractor can produce consistent materials without needing to go back to the designer.
The We-R perspective
A PDF style guide is no longer enough for a website. We translate it directly into the Webflow design system (color variables, text styles, components) so that the rules are automatically applied to every new page.

The visual identity is the set of elements that make a brand recognizable. Brand guidelines are the manual explaining how to use them.
Brand guidelines cover visuals. A brand book goes further: it also includes the brand platform and verbal identity (tone, vocabulary, messages).
