Context
Linker is a PR and LinkedIn agency founded in Paris in 2022. In December 2025, we redesigned their website on Webflow. In January 2026, we launched the logical next step: an SEO and GEO strategy to turn this new site into an acquisition channel.
Linker was primarily known as a LinkedIn agency. Its founder wanted to shift the focus to public relations, but the site was still speaking to too many audiences at once: agency heads, mid-sized companies, large corporations, and startups.
The Global Search audit, delivered in March 2026, confirmed a solid technical foundation (78/100 for SEO, 71/100 for AI visibility), but also identified several obstacles:
- the pillar page targeted "public relations," which is less searched in France than "press relations";
- there were no sector-specific pages, even though startups look for an agency that understands their market;
- there was no content to help potential clients choose an agency;
- there was no way to measure AI visibility: it was impossible to know if ChatGPT or Perplexity were recommending Linker.
We didn't write more than the competition. We wrote what AIs need to recommend an agency.
Challenges
Making public relations the primary focus
Establishing a position on "press relations" without losing the agency's LinkedIn reputation.
Speaking to a single target audience: tech startups and scale-ups
Refocusing the entire site on the client who signs, with the founder as the spokesperson.
Being recommended by AIs
Appearing in the responses of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Mode when a startup searches for a PR agency.
Measure leads, not just rankings
Connect every page and every channel to actual booked meetings.
Our approach
1. Website repositioning and rewriting
Before producing a single article, we defined the positioning with the founder:
- "Press relations" becomes the primary focus, rather than going head-to-head with established players in "public relations." Both pages remain, each optimized for its respective term.
- Exclusive focus on tech startups and scale-ups, removing pages aimed at agencies and large corporations.
- The startup is the client, the executive is the spokesperson : all copywriting for the main pages was revised with this in mind.
Without this refocusing, no amount of articles would have been enough.
2. New business pages, designed by the entire team
This is where Linker benefits from the strength of a full-service agency. Our strategy team defined the pages, our designers created them, our developers built them in Webflow, and we worked on conversion paths (e-books, meeting bookings) to turn visits into leads:
- 13 sector pages : fintech, SaaS, AI, HR tech, healthtech, cybersecurity, deeptech, greentech, and others.
- "Startup milestone" pages : fundraising, recruitment, crisis communication, product launch.
- A pillar page for "PR agency in Paris" rewritten in French and English, featuring proprietary benchmarking: out of 5 three-month PR campaigns, 7 to 15 media placements, with a median of 10.
- Comparison pages that help a prospect choose between Linker and its competitors.
A single industry page, HR tech, generated 3 leads in September 2026.
3. Glossary, wiki, and content designed for AI
- A glossary hub designed and developed by We-R: 69 PR and LinkedIn definitions, followed by 24 bilingual fact sheets on measurement and international PR.
- About twenty articles since July 2026, each linked to a business page, plus revamped older articles: comparison of the best PR agencies, deeptech press relations, fundraising press releases, and press release templates.
- GEO writing guidelines : short answers at the top, data in tables, FAQs, verified external sources, and named client case studies.
Guides get people to read the site. Comparisons that honestly name competitors get the brand recommended.
4. Authority and visibility in AI
- Allms.txt and an "Official Information about Linker" page intended for AI: who Linker is, and what the agency does and does not do.
- Des structured data sur les pages services, en français et en anglais.
- on service pages, in French and English.Work on external authority
: presence in articles that rank on Google and in AI, and on platforms that list agencies (Clutch, Sortlist, La Fabrique du Net).
5. Measurement that tracks leads
We track Linker's visibility in AI using Peec AI and our internal tool, across a panel of 19 questions that a prospect actually asks ("Which PR agency for a tech startup?"), against 11 competitors. On the site side, a dashboard connects Search Console, GA4, and conversion tracking: each lead is linked to its channel and the page that generated it.
The results in France have convinced Linker to take things further. Since October 2026, we have been targeting the UK, the US, and several European markets with two goals: capturing foreign tech companies establishing themselves in France and supporting French startups expanding abroad.
A translated website won't rank on its own: key pages in English are rewritten for the international reader, not just translated.
Results
In AI (Peec AI, from 09/14 to 10/13/2026, 2,784 responses analyzed):
- Linker is the #1 agency mentioned out of the 12 tracked, ahead of agencies established for 10 to 20 years.
- 66% of AI responses mention Linker, and 42% cite it first.
- 31% share of voice, twice as much as its main competitor.
- Linker’s website is the most consulted by AIs in the startup PR market: they use it as market documentation.
- In the two weeks following the publication of an agency comparison, AI visibility increased from 8.3% to 14.1% (+71%).

On Google (Search Console and Semrush, January to September 2026):
- Monthly impressions: from 62,000 to 86,200, a record.
- Appearances in Google’s AI features: multiplied by 15.
- Ranked keywords: from 214 to 640.

In leads:
- SEO and AI have become Linker's primary acquisition channel : 52% of leads (46% via Google, 6% directly from AI), with meetings booked on their calendar by French tech startups—exactly their target audience.
- September 2026: a record for the mission, with 18 leads from SEO and AI out of 26 total.
- After 9 months, Linker doubled its SEO and GEO investment to launch internationally.

What this case shows
- Positioning first, content second.
- AI recommends what helps it make a choice : honest comparisons, sector-specific pages, and verifiable facts.
- A 4-year-old agency can outrank players established for 20 years in AI responses.
- SEO doesn't stop at SEO : strategy, design, development, and lead gen move forward together.
